2004 Chateau La Croix de Gay Pomerol
AVERAGE POMEROL
While this wine was not as great as the Beauregard 98 that I posted yesterday, perhaps due to the lesser vintage, it's still a decent label to enjoy for daily drinking. Very definitive Pomerol style, rich and rounded, still relatively tannic so it'll benefit from decanting for 1 2 hours. I do not know the blend but wouldn't be surprised to know that it's probably Merlot plus Cabernet Franc composition.
