2004 Chateau Nenin Pomerol
DECENT QUALITY
It looked like Nenin was on the roll since 98. I knew this label long time ago and drank it's 64, 70, 75... etc, was only mildly impressed.
For a Pomerol to perform well in 04 it's not easy, but Nenin did a great job.
Nose was the minus to me; loads of antibiotics and pharmaceutical characters. Palate was great; forward, ready, elegant and pleasant albeit a bit too dry and slightly green.
