In this series I will report the detailed tasting of 12 ultimate bottles of Montrachet 04, blind format, to find the King of Montrachet.
Blaine Gagnard was another small producer in Montrachet, occupying Only 0.08 hectare of land. I still didn’t understand their relationship with Fontaine Gagnard.
Extremely faint nose to the extent it was muted, although forest freshness surfaced later. Content was too lean to my liking, almost like tasting dry paper, and moderately high acidity.
