2004 Domaine Follin Arbelet Pernand Vergelesses 1er Cru Les Fichots
Ripe cherry, cooked / stewed fruits, very intense fruity character on the nose. As usual, never judge a burgundy by the nose, as they are usually very dislodged. Same for this bottle, the palette did not reflect any matured nose has shown; moderately sour cherries, young strawberries dominated the palette. I had this bottle with strong cheeses so it was performing ok. If I drink it standalone, I don't think I can get pass the first glass!
