2004 Duhart Milon Pauillac
POOR MAN'S LAFITE...
Lately I have been losing faith to Lafite Rothschild, thus I lowered myself a few notches down to revisit the siblings of Lafite, which is Duhart Milon. From not a fantastic vintage, it was very drinkable. Nose was dark sour fruits, with very faint oak. Palette is easy going with loads of dark berries. My take is that this wine is also quite elegant although not as elegant as Lafite, but I'd call this label a Poor Man's Lafite.
