In this series I will report the detailed tasting of 12 ultimate bottles of Montrachet 04, blind format, to find the King of Montrachet.
Another very small holder of 0.08 hectare of land in Montrachet.
Was shocked to find lime skin nose and slight tangerine. Palate was very focused, very confined to the center of palate and doesn’t spread, very disciplined. Surprisingly sharp and acidic, and turned buttery about 20 min. Became thinner as time caught up.
