SAME MAKER, DIFFERENT PLOT...
Regarding this post and the next, I was undergoing a mini exam held by the Master of Wines, the white burgundy exam theme being same maker, different plot.
I loved the nose as I could tell that it’s using some great oaks to age it’s wine, but the sharp pineapple threw me off. Palate wise was similar, ultra ripe pineapple dominated the palate, plus another fifty shades of pineapple style, I was puzzled who was the winemaker. Was shocked to learn that it’s a Pucelles by HB.
