2004 Jean Boillot & Fils Monopole Clos De La Mouchere Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru
I detected the changed immediately after the initial pour from tightness to buttery, lemony and steam crab. I immediately decided it was only s premier cru without second guess. Palette was quite oaky, short finishing, light and insufficient depth to be a grand cru. The only saving grace was that I was spot on as the 2004 vintage, but I did yell Boillet Clos de la Mouchere at the blind tasting but I was not firm on my choice. Alas, it turned out to be what I thought it was.
