It was a great experience to drink this blind, as I almost thought this was a burgundy coming from a great vintage, perhaps 1978! The only giveaway was the tannins that's still lurking around, making it feel young. But the charm and melting butter character on the tongue was really a great burgundy experience! However, Beaujolais really cannot age as the content went downhill and dying in less than 20 min. Nose was unexciting as well with slight chlorine and dry cupboard.
