2005 Chateau Palmer Alter Ego
WAS A GREAT BORDEAUX UNTIL...
It went so well for Ch Palmer's second wine until the heavyweights like Leoville Las Cases showed up. Easygoing, friendly and pleasant. But when other 05 Grand Cru showed up, I can immediately tell the difference as this wine doesn't have any complexity to start off with! It showed really well initially though. If you drink it standalone without comparison I think you will enjoy it tremendously.
