FUTURE EVALUATION
Perhaps my 3.5 stars was a bit too harsh, but that was my impression on the spot without taking consideration of it's future potential.
A whiff and I found the fruits too stagnant and stale. Really a boring start.
Content wise it was more lively than Beychevelle 05 and Phelan Segur 05, but extremely tannic. A very structured wine with very bright acidity, perhaps to the extent of harshness. I'd leave it for future evaluation as a small glass wasn't representative of the label.
