2005 Pichon Lalande Pauillac
ANOTHER TEST
This time I struggled to identify the label and vintage although I crossed shoulders with Lalande even though I mentioned the label, but I hesitated. It was a merlot based left bank wine for sure, but it was unimpressive, as there’s not much character to it, worse, it was very diluted. I had this once about 5 years ago and gave the same comment, so I wouldn’t buy anymore Lalande 05. Plus I was guessing it as 80s from a mediocre vintage. Blind tasting is a really good way to tell the truth.
