2006 Andre Clouet Le Clos De Bouzy Grand Cru
BLANC DE NOIR
Le Clos is located in the central location of champagne region, production of one of the finest champagnes. Bouzy produces about 90% of Pinot Noir grape types, even though it's a dark grape type, it was lightly pressed to produce light yellow color champagne. That's why it is called BLANC de Noir.
I find it slightly fragrant and forest freshness on the nose. Palate is slightly aged, slightly yeasty and very balanced. I like the precision of the wine. I think it'll age very well given time.
