2006 Barde Haut Saint Emilion Grand Cru
Not bad for a 2006 vintage. Bared Haut is very consistent with its style. I recently drank the 2000, and this 2006 was quite similar in style. Loads of blueberries, dark fruits storm the nose. Palette is also the same story, very dark fruits with good intensity. Thick and luscious. I think this wine can be kept for the next 2 decades without a problem. I will actually upgrade it possibly in a decade's time.
