2006 Chateau Hosanna Pomerol
DARK CHOCOLATE
Quite a cult wine from the Moueix family (producer of Petrus), an up and coming label that I'm quite impressed with. Definitely benefitted from the knowledge of Moueix family in many years of winemaking.
Nose was a load of dark chocolates! My senses were telling me it wouldn't be too sweet, but great flavor. True to the nose, it was nice on the palate. Opened up in the glass after 20 mins, it exhibited forward and richness of a Pomerol, very mellow, very engaging and enjoyable.
