2006 Chateau Latour a Pomerol
DECENT POMEROL
I didn't drink enough Pomerol 06 to formulate an opinion, but for this bottle that I came across today was decent enough to please me.
Smoky, chunky cooked fruits slammed my nose upon smelling it, wow, would expect the palate to be massive too! However do take note whatever you smell has no relevance to the palate. Body was slightly on the lighter and thinner style, bordering between red and dark fruits, but signature Pomerol style, very forward. The fruits are like chewable, super!
