2006 Petrolo Galatrona
100% BLIND MERLOT NIGHT!
I brought this bottle along with Redigaffi 2001, the purpose of this bottle was purely for benchmark and see where it could fare based on the price. I fell off my chair when the consensus voted this bottle as a tied runner up Wine of the Night! Pleasant surprise, go grab some! Nose is an obvious jumbo Italian. Palette was very structured, very elegant and multi layers. Extremely long finishing!
