It’s really difficult to satisfy my palate nowadays when it comes to white burgundies, coz I drank too much to formulate a firm opinion on it. For a Chevalier Monctrachet, I wanted more to make it a perfect bottle. So far only Neillon 02 managed to get my attention.
Really great balance nose, not aggressive nor overpowering. It possessed a greatly balanced content, with the tendency towards feminine style. Superb length, although slightly lemony. I would expect Chevalier to be a bit oily.
