Emmanuel Reynaud is one of the best wine producer in Chateauneuf du Pape. An intense wine produced from 100% Grenache, and this is only the second wine; imagine the first!
On the first sip, the wine appears big and loud; displaying dense tannins with ripe juicy red and dark fruits; making you want more. Slowly the flavours grow. The ripe fruit gets into stewed prunes like, rich as fruit cake. What I really enjoy about Rayas wine is the wonderful texture; powerful, yet gentle in a liquid of elegance!
