2007 Henri Boillot Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Clos de La Mouchere Monopole

Henri Boillot produces one of the best Puligny Montrachet in Burgundy, the plot is called Clos de la Mouchere, a Monopole plot. To me, the quality is undoubtedly almost akin to a Grand Cru level. Had so many past vintages, never fail to impress me.
2007 maybe with elevated acidity in general, but it still did not cover up this gem. Very muted nose to start with, turned extremely buttery thereafter. A very rich and bold, expressive wine, I really enjoyed the full body chunky style.
