2007 Louis Carillon & Fils Bourgogne Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Les Champs Canet
Louis Carillon is known to produce very decent quality of Champs Canet. I was lucky to chanced upon two different vintages recently, namely the 07 & 09. I will tell you my preference in the next posting.
Nose of very faint oak, extremely buttery, and fairly muted. Palette was significantly light, buttery, very faint charcoal taste, light minerality, somehow lacked flavor, saving grace was that the wine gained weight and got richer over time.
