BAROLO DRINKABLE WHEN YOUNG?
I throw this question to the floor, as my own experience varied from label to label. I remembered 3 years ago I opened a bottle of Pio Cesare 04, the extremely dry tannins cut my tongue like paper cutter! But I also had labels like Marchesi which is extremely friendly at young age. This label? It was in between fruits like dark cherries were abundant and friendly, very approachable at start. However, it turned ugly after half a glass, the dreaded dry tannins where everywhere!
