2007 Tenuta San Guido Sassicaia
I was mildly disappointed with 2007, I tasted it 2 yrs ago with a British wine merchant, I thought it was the perfect Zegna suit I was wearing then, rated it highly then. But today, I found the weakness kicked in, more diluted than I thought, less fruits & flavor. Can't be my palette has changed so much over a span of 2 years, I still think the btl is either over decanted or the wine cannot grow up well.

A period of contact with the skins of approximately 15 days in the temperature controlled steel vats with a combination of pumping over of the cap and delestage.
