2008 Domaine Neyret Gachet Chateau Grillet Vin Blanc

This northern Rhone produced bottle was given by President of Ch Latour Federic Engerer to my friend. He was told that only 1000+ bottles were produced per year. Made 100% from Viognier grapes, it was my first encounter of this wine.
Nose of Chinese famous liquor Moutai, extremely flowery and floral bouquet.
It was lesser intensity compared to other Viognier wines, but I still get a ton of butter, very toasted or burned butter, charred popcorn. It was really easy and elegant to drink this wine.
