2008 Domaines Schlumberger Alsace Kessler Riesling Grand Cru
Met the export director cum family member of this vineyard today, trying to understand Alsace wines better.
As a Grand Cru, I would expect a lot more. Unfortunately it didn't give me a stunning experience. Not far from the previous bottle I posted. Loads of pineapple on the nose, although this one had an added tinch of lychee. Body was again repeating what I mentioned about the nose. Not a very dry Riesling, moderate drink.
