2008 Louis Carillon & Fils Bienvenues Bâtard Montrachet Grand Cru
KING OF BIENVENUES BATARD MONTRACHET
I have drank many Bienvenues Batard Montrachet, except for Etienne Sauzet that was really impressive with the 07, I haven't come across another label of BBM producing quality like Louis Carillon.
The fact was that white burgundy grand cru never yell at your ears to get attention. Behaved totally like a gentleman. Bouquet of very balanced, faint and slightly spicy.
Palate was surprisingly ready for the age, very balanced, gained weight over time. This was Grand Cru.
