I don't recall awarding premier cru a 5 star rating, but I swear Louis Carillon Les Referts deserved the rating, not just for this vintage alone, as I have tried many other vintages to draw this conclusion.
Bouquet of pleasant, unobtrusive, elegant, floral, pineapple.
The acidity was slightly more pronounced, however it was so approachable, a really steady wine. Key takeaway is the great balance in this wine. Furthermore it kept improving in the glass, I was really sold.
