2009 Andre Clouet Dream Vintage Brut
DREAM VINTAGES 2/4
2009 Grand Cru champagne was also considered a dream vintage as the vintage was great throughout Europe. Served blind, based upon the color I thought it was an 06, as it was pale and light yellow. Nose of slight buttery and grassy which reminded me of a Sauvignon Blanc. Palate wise, fruits were intense, so was the bubbles which was really fizzy. I liked this 2009 for it's possessing a very young character and it certainly can age for a decade or two to enhance the flavor.
