2009 Chateau Bellevue Saint Emilion Grand Cru Classe
2009 HARDLY FAIL
I have tasted tons of 2009 Bordeaux to date, and every label, famous or not, never fail to impress me. Perhaps the St Emilion appellation was the least impressive so far, but it still was great. This was only a Grand Cru St Emilion, but it performed way above my expectations. Was shutdown when I tasted it last year, today it sprang to life again. Stewed dark fruits and rich fruits dominated the nose. Palette was intense fruits, huge, bold and extremely drinkable. Really loved any 09 Bdx!
