2009 Domaine Leflaive Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Les Pucelles
BEST LEFLAIVE PUCELLES
I had many vintages of Leflaive Pucelles in the past, some were average but mostly didn't quite impressed me, perhaps I drank mostly mediocre vintages. This 09 was the first serious bottle.
Almost a cooked lemon on the nose, very slightly baked apple too implying a bit advanced, buttery.
One of the most balanced Leflaive Pucelles I have ever come across, no matter which direction I looked at, it rang me the balance was almost at the Grand Cru level. No wonder It's not cheap.
