I evaluated 4 5 labels of Zind Humbrecht, the summary of my impression on this label was a bit mean, given its well known label, but that's my opinion: Zind had a nice nose, but palate was unexciting. Sorry if you disagree, I spent the whole afternoon revisiting booths and keep trying the wines.
This Grand Cru performed at a different level. Bouquet of aged pineapple, toasty and bake pineapple tarts. Yummy!
But palate still disappointed, lacks fruits, dull, no excitement.
