2009 Dominio Basconcillos Ribera Del Duero Vina Magna Crianza

Perhaps you can get a glimpse of this wine's character if you looked at my recent postings of the 2013 vintage. This 2009 had the same pedigree, although it was much better than the 2013.
The nose was fruity, accompanied by some unlikely character of paper and starch. The palate was very fruity, albeit a bit one dimensional. Quality was acceptable. I would believe their Grand Reserva should be a league by itself!
