2009 Jean Noel Gagnard Chassagne Montrachet 1er Les Caillerets
I'm not so good at Chassagne Montrachet appellation, so these notes are still in an ongoing exploration stage.
Nose of prominent strike match or perhaps matchsticks mixed with some gunpowder.
Surprisingly balanced wine, somehow quite similar to some Puligny Montrachet with the buttery notes, it has pronounced acidity. Probably a tad too early to drink this now. Will improve over time.
