2009 Jean Philippe Fichet Meursault Les Chevaliers
Fichet has never been on my white burgundy radar, but the last killer Fichet Referts and tonight's Meursault Les Chevalier has changed my opinion about this winemaker, now I wouldn't mind buying their wines at all.
Very buttery nose. Fruity palate, which suits me well, along with balanced body, albeit a bit dry and slightly short on the finishing. Fits stylishly as a typical 2009 vintage white burgundy style.
