2009 Louis Carillon Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Les Combettes
We had a white Burgundy 2009 blind tasting organized by Johan, was like an exam, even have to answer questionnaires via Survey Monkeys, however, it was extremely fun.
Great elegant nose, subdued elegance, slight fragrance & lemony, indistinguishable lime.
This was a huge wine by any burgundy aspect, and rightfully a Combettes style. Along with it was high acidity and very rich style, both are characters of 2009 white burgundies. Very entertaining wine.
