2009 Malagar Cuvee La Croix Bouey
DECEIVING
Right of the bat, this wine screamed red fruits on the nose. Drinking this during a blind tasting, i initially thought it was a right bank wine but the palate showed the true colors of the wine. It was drying and woody on the palate. I was shocked to find that it was a 2009 vintage wine! Coming from one of the best vintages of Bordeaux, I would expect this to be better than it was. I conclude that this is due to poor wine making skills.
