2009 Mas de Daumas Gassac Rouge
Consistent Character
I’ve come to get used to Mas de Daumas Gassac style, it’s a wine with very consistent character that does not differ from vintage to vintage very much, I need to give praises for such a consistent production as it’s not easy to achieve similar style year in, year out; Bouquet is always full load of smoke and tar, very MDDS. This 2009 was a great vintage, and it reflected very well on this bottle itself, content was jammed pack with ready to drink fruits, very compact juice, undetectable tannins (probably lurking in the background), smooth and creamy. Highly recommended.
