2009 Siro Pacenti Brunello di Montalcino Vecchie Vigne
After drinking the fabulous 2010, I was curious whether this label is consistent with its production or it's a one off vintage? After trying the 2009, I think they've gotten their winemaking skills right! It's a label to buy when you have a chance.
Faint oak on the nose, along with dark fruits like black currant and blueberries dominated. Palate was very balanced, a really good oak play that balanced it do well with the underlying fruits of sour cherries, black currant, blackberry and dark cherries.
