2009 Verget Pouilly Fuisse Terroirs de Vergisson Vignes du Dessus
TROPICAL FRUITS
This wine was the most tropical fruit content wine I've ever come across.
On the nose, lychee, slight pineapple, longan and mango hit me immediately, although it turned buttery some 10 mins later.
Content was purely tropical fruits driven; jackfruit, yellow and green pears, mangoes, lychee, and even pomelo to wrap up a bit of bitterness.
The wine was soft and light style, can't go with heavy food, so I recommend pomelo or fruit salad, steam prawns, steam fish, vegetarian diet.
