2010 Altesino Brunello di Montalcino
IMPRESSIVE
I liked this Altesino a lot, so far amongst the 9 Brunellos I have posted, this was my favorite label (till I get to Siro Pacenti).
This wine has this charm that's not found in other Brunellos. Very good oaky nose, and very red fruit driven. The palette was, wow, extremely balanced, the acidity and fruits are in extreme harmony, loads of red fruits, and most importantly the fruits possessed purity which added a lot of charm to the wine.
