2010 Etienne Sauzet Puligny Montrachet 1er Les Combettes
WARNINGS
I have repeatedly warned buyers about the quality of Etienne Sauzet Premier Cru, it was really bizarre, of the 4 5 bottles I had this year, only 1 was extremely good, all other bottles in one way or another disappointed me. Only buy the Grand Cru, which had much lesser problems.
Very strong (creamy) butter smell on the nose, with a hint of premôx. Content was slightly advanced with baked apple and barley showing up, although was still drinkable with lots of flavor, particularly strong butter.
