I didn't expect that there were more than 11 producers producing Combettes in Puligny Montrachet, not to mention we have a lineup of 11 bottles tonight, all from different producers! Speechless for my limited white burgundy knowledge.
Francois Carillon's Combettes are really top of the line, one of the best in the 11 bottles tasting, alongside with Potel.
Nose of light popcorn, butter and slight orange. Nice rounded buttery taste with great balancing acidity.
