2010 Henri Boillot Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Clos de La Mouchere Monopole
OVER RATED 2010?
Read many critics raved about white burgundy 2010, from my favorite plot Clos de la Mouchere 2010 and a few other whites that I've tried, I was a bit doubtful.
Signature nose of gunpowder, albeit lesser than the 2009 version. Signature character of 2010: extremely elevated acidity, so overwhelming that I can't even feel or taste the fruits' presence, although one can sense the impeccable structure of this great vintage. Sorry I'm not an acidic guy, prefers the 2009 vintage a lot more.
