2010 Jean Philippe Fichet Puiligny Montrachet 1er Cru Les Referts
SANDWICH
In a flight of three Les Referts 2010, this Fichet was sandwiched between Etienne Sauzet and Jacques Carillon. Fichet doesn't have the big name like the two others, but it stood up all by herself, hats off!
Nose of slight gunpowder and white summer flower.
Despite the lack of complexity on the palate, it more than made it up with the big fruits; light, easy and approachable, along with the typical sharp acidity of 2010. Good effort.
