2010 Siro Pacenti PS Riserva Brunello di Montalcino
RESERVA?
I don't quite understand this Siro Pacenti Reserva, as it probably means it was aged in oak barrel for a longer time, just like the Spanish system. Normally Spanish Reservas would have more flavor, more oak or something else, but this one comparing to their normal 2010 production was a far cry...
It was predominantly red cherries both on the nose and palate, rich and elegant, however it was a big wine and showing a lot of underlying tannins, definitely needs time to mellow down.
