2011 Chateau De La Maltroye Chassagne Montrachet
I'm quite surprised of the color, very yellowish when the sommelier pour the wine in my glass. Without looking at the vintage, based on my nose, color and a sip, I thought it was before 2000! I was obviously shocked to learn that it's a young 2011 wine. The bottle obviously have significant bottle age as it showed on the nose with matured white style of butter, while palette wise is has very rich fruits, coupled with aged characters. I wonder if it's the character of this label or its a storage problem?
