2011 Chateau Haut Condissas Medoc

Please take the awards printed on the bottle with a pinch of salt. I was told this was highly decorated, so I purposely blinded this bottle amongst 7 other bottles to experiment with, to see how far it went with our own award winning wines?
Bad result, was my runner up from behind!
Strong coffee nose. Content was dominated by thick fruits, although slightly woody, a bit bitter. The big fruits were too confined to the narrow part of the tongue. Perhaps it was a result from a poor vintage.
