Our objective here in the blind tasting is to find out the gem of this region and whether it was universally agreed on the producer label. Les Perrieres was a large and quality plot in Puligny Montrachet, thus a worth while exploration.
Frankly, Francois Carillon produced quite an impressive Perrieres, was ranked 2nd in the flight of 4. It has quite an interesting level of acidity. Rich and intense, although not as spread out as a typical Puligny, quite confined on the palate.
