Eleven Shades of Combettes 1/11
I didn't expect that there were more than 11 producers producing Combettes in Puligny Montrachet, not to mention we have a lineup of 11 bottles tonight, all from different producers! Speechless for my limited white burgundy knowledge.
The nose was really strong wood, albeit the really elegant type. Slightly rich and creamy, although it was smooth and elegant. It was the first Combettes vintage produced by Domaine Boillot. Great effort!
