Our objective here in the blind tasting is to find out the gem of this region and whether it was universally agreed on the producer label. Les Perrieres was a large and quality plot in Puligny Montrachet, thus a worth while exploration.
This one initially caught my attention as the best, but was eventually downgraded. Initial characters were charming; rich, deep, broad, intense, flattering, slight creaminess. However the stamina ran out of steam after 30mins, thus the downgrade.
